If you are not a Czech citizen or a citizen of one the European Union (EU) countries, Unites States or Canada, you may possibly need to apply for a visa process before you travel to the Czech Republic.
In case of uncertainty, please consult the page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the list of countries, which citizens are required to have a visa for entering the Czech Republic here.
Passport and visa requirements
Czech Republic is a part of the European Union and the Schengen Area. The visitors from non-EU countries must possess a passport valid for at least three months ahead. Participants requiring a visa should apply at least three months in advance to the consular office or embassy of the Czech Republic in their country in order to avoid inconvenience. Please note that the visa application procedure can take up to several weeks.
For full details about visa requirements and application procedures, visit an official web site of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
ICMES 2019 is not authorized to assist with the VISA process. The invitation letter from the organizing committees will be sent upon the request only when you register successfully, which may help but cannot guarantee you a Czech Visa.
In case of refusal of visas by the Czech authorities, the ICMES 2019 will not be held responsible if you are requested to cancel your participation to the conference.
